Won't happen. They're pushing it with keeping Matty on 6-9.I would think they will cat a shift first. No way are they going to go live until midnight.

i think you are right.
however, if they increased the production values of everyone shows (made the more unique and added some originality) they could make a greater appeal to the total market.

Michael Savage is on 9pm-11pm. I enjoy that show in large part to it NOT being local...how many hours in a day do we have to hear RI news talk? Or at least a RI slant on things...it does get boring.

What would Cornetta bring that John/Buddy/Dan/Matt don't bring? Another thing I just thought of..has Cornetta ever interviewed someone or had a guest? I know he's filled in a lot, but does that mean he can carry his own show?

That's the reason why I enjoy John Batchelor over on 790. There's only so much you can bear to hear about the Governor, the Assembly, and the City of Providence, among other RI-centric things.

They need a national show on during the day.Move Laura Ingram over to WPRO.That breaks up the just about all male line up.Grab Sean Hannity from WHJJ.He would be a good fit with John and Buddy.

I love listening but it is getting stale.

WPRO as far as I am concerned is boring; how much can we continually talk about Rhode Island issues all day with the different talk hosts talking about the same topics? Moving Laura Ingraham to WPRO is a great idea; I would thing WPRO could get that show easily as it broadcasts two other Talk Radio Network shows (Mike Savaga and Jerry Doyle). Sean Hannity is likely under contract with Clear Channel to air on WHJJ.

What greater service can a local station do than to talk local issues? Personally, I only find 2 national shows interesting at all any more. Rush is one of them. The rest of the syndicated stuff is lukewarm at best. Stay off the bird. R.I. has a place to talk about itself, which I suspect, many R.I.ers love to do!
