WPRO Mid Morning News,too much...

While listening to Matt Allens weekend show ,I noticed
the show 'flowed'smoother, than his weekday show.
I think the 20 min and 50 min news breaks, during the week,
are screwing up that flow.
Is it a talk show ,or a broken up News broadcast?
And some of the morning news stories are idiotic!
You don`t hear that crap during Dan Yorkes show, WHY???
I think Matt Allen is doing a fine job. I`m not sure about
the morning news however...

MidMornings at pro have too much commotion. 23 to 27 minutes of
talk .The majority of time spent on commercials and news.
Wpro needs a hands on Program Director now.
Changingtimes.

They're advertising on air fof a full time producer for Ron,Matt,& Dan. Does that tell you that Paul Giammarco is going to be the (soon to be announced) PD?

Jock,
I wish to hell they`d do something.
Give it to Giamarco for a year..The guy gave up a good job and salary
to come to WPRO.
The Corprates need to stop thinking their such big sh-ts and
JUST DO IT...
Is it true Allen is still not the MORNING guy??
Who they gonna hire ,Dick Clark!
Oh, and the morning news ,awful, just awful....
Fallriveractive.

Re: NEW WPRO Mid Morning News Has Problem...

WPRO Morning News is a lot of junk & filler material.

Just one opinion...

Beef up number number of local stories including state and regional!

Far too much time on national stories that have no real impact here. A line or two at most would suffice for many of these stories.

And way too much time on entertainment-related stories.

After 9:00 a.m. STOP the headlines at :20 & :50! Not necessary, rarely any new information, and very disruptive to the talk programming. In theory anyway, I thought that after 9:00 a.m., its supposed to be a talk staion with some news, not vice-versa.
