WPRO Web Site Incompetence

Aside from it being a poorly built web site for several reasons (not the least of which being a Java applet that the station didn't even bother to pay for that slows the site to a crawl), when one clicks on the link to what is supposed to be the site for Jay Severin's national show on WPRO's weekend programming page the link takes you to an anti-Severin site owned by former Libertarian candidate for Lt. Governor of Massachusetts Rich Aucoin.

I decided to visit Citadel's corporate page to see if their work for other stations is equally shoddy, but the menu on the corporate site doesn't work in non-IE browsers, so I gave up.

Nice work Citadel. Try hiring some skilled web developers. And put Matt Allen back on weekday mornings.

Behold the power of radio-info.com! The link is now gone.

Yes and I think someone reserved jayseverin.com years ago but nothing was ever launched on it... maybe they bought it so nobody else could have it. But the
Severin critic did manage to get jayseverin.org (by contrast, Howie Carr had to use only howiecarr.org because someone else had grabbed up howiecarr.com...
long story, but he does have possession of the .com now)<P ID="signature">______________

Whoever bought it is using Jay Severin's name and Greater Media's address in the registry.

Hi, Well they may have fixed the link problem ,but the e-mail
addresses to the hosts are GONE, HELLO!!!!!
Maybe they should call BLOCK ISLAND,( Where all WPRO orders come from)
Just ask 'Holland (Islander) Cooke'.
My best to you,
Chatty.
