Why cannot the fill in be up to the standards of Rep. Laughlin, who filled in for Helen .

Lou Polner was great. But, Laffey, please, bring what jobs to any State?? Many go to China? It appears one set up caller after another. While the cheering squad is calling, how about, who is to blame for the mortgage crisis, who sold his soul for donations from mortgage companies and banks?? bozo in the white house, stating for a few years, "Many more Americans own homes." Yes, due to the diluted requirements and blood money donations from the mortgage lenders. . Now, the mortgage insurers may go belly up.
Come on the Republican cheering squad. I can say one thing for the former Republican Senator he knew a dummy running the country, and I commend him highly for doing what he thought was right for his state and country.

Now the lemmings (Republicans) in Washington are abandoning ship. This country is in a mess due to the administration , which now has a drastic impact on many states.

Lamentable is the sad cast of characters running for the White HOuse.

I have an order for 1 soapbox under the name of Tony...any takers? :)

Tony, I wholeheartedly agree with you, I see it on my end of my career now where lending institutions are requiring coverage (and in turn, premiums) for properties that in no way are valued for what they are lending out and if there was a loss, they would be able to recoup....and you would think the business reg people would look hard at first at the lenders, seeing as they are the ones greenlighting the financing for all the construction along the coast in the face of federal mandates re barrier/coastal communities.

Oops, I didn't mean to get up there; but at least you know it is warmed up for you & test driven, tony....I don't know why with all of the write ups (and multiple pages of foreclosure & mortgagee sales in the Pro-Jo), the talking heads (including Helen) haven't been talking about this more!
