Don't jump to the conclusions! The man is entitled to his day in court, it could be just a disgruntled employee. Remember when everyone thought he was involved in that ratings scandal? Everyone thought Mr. DePetro cheated with the rating books. As it turned out, it was his wife who did it WITHOUT his knowledge! Then there was that thing with an alleged girlfriend. Again, people were quick to accuse him of making threatening texts to her and her family. No charges were ever filed. He did nothing wrong. So cut the guy some slack. I'm sure we'll all find this was just yet another case of the guy being falsely accused.

Isn't he married with a family?

Yep, still married to the wife he threw under the bus to save face after he forged some Arbitron diaries.

You've got two options here: Either he's in a loving and close relationship with his wife, so it's nonsense to think she forged the books behind his back... I don't believe for an instant he didn't know about it.

OR!

He's not very close with his wife at all, she forged the books without him knowing, and he's out trolling for 20-something girls.
 
This will be very difficult to prove. Unfortunately even if he's exonerated, people will believe what they want to but it will have no effect on his career there. Hers has already been affected adversely, but hopefully this won't stop her from getting another job in radio. If she did go through proper channels there & it was just swept under the rug, then it appears management has its head in the sand.
 
It's interesting that Dee was substituting for Tara on Friday. How does this square with the suit's contention that she was locked out of the building? I assume that it is the same Dee.

If the lawsuit is against Depetro, didn't the wrong person get locked out of the building?

That place is just plain F**king Screwy.
 
Usually, where there is smoke, there is fire. This isn't the first time these allegations have pursued John; but it appears it is the first time someone has taken the full steps to litigate this.
 
Man, watching Depetro on the studio cam today trying to stir up his usual nontopic, you can see the pain on his face. Sure he's listening to Patrick from Warwick(head cheerleader of team Depetro), but his mind is definitely elsewhere. Like, "what am i going to do with all these springsteen tix now that my wife has had enough of my screwing around", or "my ego may have finally done me in". Definitely a distracted man.

Loved how he said he doesn't cut people off-must have been 3 people trying to sneak something in that may not make the airwaves but doesn't have the benefit of the 7 second delay on the studio cam. I'm loving this

The most interesting thing in this whole story IMO is "the house in Barrington". About 20 minutes into that clip Helen alludes to her knowing names of people who visit the house.

I couldn't agree more. Is it POSSIBLE one of the other people connected to that address could be a local car dealer? Just curious. . .

Bob Plain actually worked for WPRO not too long ago and as far as I know doesn't write for a paper, but blogs for RIfuture (which he owns) about mostly local issues.
