Damn it, i was looking forward all weekend to hear him this morning and i forgot. Was he even on? Watching on webcam makes all the difference as you could see it was bothering him the day before he got suspended

I watched for about a half hour from 11-11:30. He looked disheveled, his hair wasn't combed and he looked like he was wearing a shirt he had slept in. His big topic was "do you think it is ok if a presidential candidate doesn't wear a tie". Real compelling stuff. He seemed to me to be preoccupied and was almost timid which is not like him at all.

Thats interesting. I've watched enough to notice the difference last week that something was bothering him. I do feel for him in a way, getting on the air knowing there's the underlying vibe. Not enough not to see him fry for this though.
The other aspect about the webcam is that i don't think they have the 7 sec delay. There were 3 callers last week that he cut off when they tried to squeeze in a quick jab. i don't think those comments made the air though because he went out of his way later to tell a caller he never cuts anyone off

I remember doing radio shows when I was in the midst of a break up from a girlfriend. It was just a music show. So at least I was able to cry during songs. But I couldn't imagine having to do a talk show when your life is falling apart. It's show business and "the Show Must Go On". But that has to be incredibly difficult depending on the situation. Some days a radio station is going to be the last place you are in the mood to be at. I think Depetro is going through that right now.

Yes i meant the father. They may have already known that though. I had forgotten that Bob Kerr had written an artlcle expressing the same feelings i had as i listen to Depetro interview John Foreman. It caused some controversy as somehow some people thought he was defending Woodmansee. In reality it was because Depetro came across as not even caring what the fathers name was, just that he had a great story he could exploit in the most shocking gruesome way possible.
