WPTF programming

Outside lurker here... I'm a frequent WPTF listener in their target demo, conservative middle-aged. They really need to not replay Brian Kilmeade on weeknights, or at least be more selective of his shows. By the time it re-runs, there's a lot that has happened in the afternoon and it's old. A great example is last night -- the Trump conviction news came out at 5pm, but his re-run show was just all about speculating what the jury's decision would be. It was actually quite embarrassing to hear, and so tiresome and irrelevant at that point, I turned it off after 5 minutes.

Instead, some of Michele Woodhouse's interview replays would be much better. They could also play the Carolina Newsmakers interviews more frequently, as they are always good and usually have longer relevance. But really, they need to find someone who can bring back a Tom Kearney style live show. I really miss him, and wonder how he is doing? His show was a nice diversion from politics -- a great variety of interesting topics and guests.

I miss the Tom Kearney Show as well and wish they'd add some more local talk that's not of the paid programming variety. I liked the late Jim Bohannon's program as well. It aired live and was much more relevant with breaking news, etc. I actually liked his replacement, Rich Valdes, but they pulled him in favor of Jimmy Faila (which they don't air live; just the recorded version from 10pm-1am). He's pretty entertaining, but things are dated as they are with Kilmeade.
