WPTY/Long Island: now "Party"-ing with more Dance currents!?!

It looks like something must be up at WPTY (Party 105.3)/Long Island, since they seem to have moved away from Rhythmic AC and shifted back to Dance in recent weeks and its playlist featured at their website have reflected this.

Party FM has stuck with the dance format for all these years, even if the dance music was put on hold for a few months. I remember in 2005 when the "Party Hits" experiment was on for the fall, and sometime during the winter, the dance format came back, and it was awesome with Andre at the helm. I'd have to say that Party 105 sounded best in the summer of 2007. When Party took over Pulse at 87.7, it was mostly hip hop, but gradually the dance crept back in. Now we had the retro Party experiment for last fall and winter, but the current dance is back. I wish we still had Party 101.5, or better yet, Party 94.7.

They can only play the old dance music so many times before it gets stale.

Take over the NY affiliate of the "Camping Network"? That would be nice.
They own several stations in major markets that are of considerable value.
