WPVI 6 PM Saturday Action News broadcast not airing

I'm noticing that the 6 PM Saturday edition of Action News is not airing as of this post time. Instead 6ABC is airing ABC World News Saturday as of post time . Curious as to why that is? Action News was listed on the various TV listings to air at 6 PM, World News at 6:30 PM.
 
im not sure if its the same as here in Boston but on weekends channel 5 airs there news at 630p instead of 6pm maybe its the same there!!
 
From 6ABC website: The start of tonight's 6 p.m. edition of Action News is being delayed. 6:33 PM UPDATE: Another airing of World News is airing on 6ABC right now. This is unusual for a major station like WPVI to have something like this to happen.
 
They're automated, I believe. Probably a computer meltdown. It's happened elsewhere, including WHDH in Boston. They gave up after a few minutes and threw to MSNBC.
 
Automation systems are notorious for killing newscasts.
I think many of the network O&O stations have these systems.
They can make a big station look small-market in no time flat.
 
There's a Philly board, Julius. This ain't a national issue.

Call it a coincidence, but I'm in Rhode Island and I just went to watch the stations 11 PM Newscast on the web before I even came here. That isn't working either. Did the station have another meltdown that prevented the 11 PM newscast from going on the air (or) is it just a problem with their streaming this time?
 
Not to sound like a jerk, but I've always thought threads about technical glitches are pretty much a waste of message board space. TV and radio stations are going to have technical problems at times. No station is mistake-free, it's just the nature of the business. If somebody really needs to know why a program didn't air, they should call the station and ask them instead of posting here. :)
