WPVI-TV channel 6 to build new studios to be opened in 2009

As a result of new Channel 3 and 6 studios, does anyone know what plans NBC10 has in totally renovating their large broadcasting property? I am aware that NBC10 plans to be fully HD by early next year. This is isn't enough. A major facility renovation is really needed to be competitive.

Building new facilities is great, and a necessary business expense from time to time, as you outgrow cramped spaces, need new technologies, etc. That said, new facilities mean bupkus to viewers and the ability to be competitive. Channel 3's new space looks wonderful, and I'm sure channel 6's will be as well--but neither will impact competitiveness, nor will however long it takes for channel 10 to move/overhaul. The on-air product is what matters--not whether it came from a building that's days old or decades old.
