WPVI-TV's John Rawlins to retire after 38 years

https://www.inquirer.com/entertainment/tv/john-rawlins-6abc-retires-action-news-20190930.html

Rawlins, a native of Washington, D.C., joined Action News in April 1981, according to a station bio. He arrived in Philadelphia following a stint at WAVE-TV in Louisville, Ky., where he worked initially as a general assignment reporter, and later as an investigative reporter.

Before that, Rawlins served as a reporter and weekend anchor at WKYT-TV in Lexington, Ky. His run in TV news began after his graduation from the University of Kentucky, where he earned a degree in political science.

Congrats!
