WPW Clinton & Muscatine

I see that WPW Broadcasting has changed call letters (to KMCS) in Muscatine and (to KMCN) in Clinton? Is there a format change? Simulcast?

So far, nothing different in Clinton, in fact they are still using the KZEG call letters.

WPW sold those stations to Prairie Communications over a year ago.

That's what they say, but the FCC still lists them as WPW. According to their ownership reports, the majority owner has not changed.

BTW, I was able to pick up the Muscatine station last night and they are still ID'ing as KWCC. No change yet?

This is now MaC radio (Muscatine and Clinton)...the format is 'we play everything' abomination...ridiculous! They have signal challenges in the heart of the QC and they are "mirrorcasting" which is just playing the same music and sweepers...why dont they just have one station serve Clinton and the other serve Muscatine? That is a dying art form---local radio! The qc stations will crush them (if they even care about this).
