WPXG-DT Testing New Channel 33 Transmitter?

L

Sunday night (March 15th) I was checking some of the DTV channels on my DT-to-Analog box atop my tabletop analog TV, and voila (a little French lingo), there was a strong clear signal on channel 33, the home of WPXG's digital programming. I never got a usable picture before, and it's blank again today (Monday). In terms of UHF TV signal strength, 190 KW isn't all that much stronger than 100KW, but WPXG-DT has a CP for a power boost to that higher power (and a directional pattern that's pointed directly where I live). Trouble is, just like WMFP-DT channel 18, WPXG-DT has no programming that anybody would want to watch.

You were probably just getting a little tropo enhancement to the north last night. I also noticed that signals to the north were a little stronger than usual.

Really? Ya don't like re-runs of MASH, Drew Carey, Family Fued, Quantum Leap, ER, NCIS, or Boston Legal or movies? That's what's on WPXG 4PM-11PM during the week (and 6PM-11PM on the Weekends?)
