NBC/Universal no longer owns any part of PAX-TV as of July 1, 2005. That is why you no longer see rebroadcasts of NewsChannel 4 on WPXN. PAX also changed it's name to "i - Independent Television" on that date. For a while there will be dual branding and a lot of your favorite "PAX" shows will continue to air. Eventually programs by "independent" producers will be airing on "i -Independent Television" and "PAX" will move to one of WPXN's digital channel. For more infromation go to: <a href=http://www.ionline.tv/contact/faq.cfm">http://www.ionline.tv/contact/faq.cfm

Thanks, but we all already know the reasons for the changes.

And NBCUni still holds a percentage of the company. I believe it was PAX/I's decision to pull the rebroadcasts in order to show more "profitable" programming.
______________
