WPXT selling or not?

I read on Wikipedia that Ironwood was selling WPXT to Sinclair. I thought this was nonsense so I edited the page and removed the statement. Then I went to RabbitEars and saw Sinclair's name by WPXT's callsign. I then thought maybe it was true and reverted my own edit (and added in some more info). I couldn't find any paperwork to back up the report, so it might be a mistake on RabbitEars' part. Does anyone know if WPXT is really for sale?

Ironwood seems to be in it for the long haul with respect to WPXT. I can't imagine Sinclair getting involved since they are already at the limit as operator of Fox affiliate WPFO, which is owned by Sinclair shell company Cunningham. WPXT's sister station WPME was just sold to Ion for $900K pending FCC approval; under the terms of the sale Ironwood will continue to operate the station. MyNet and Laff will shift to WPXT subchannels. Ion is already reportedly airing on WPME's .2 channel, replacing Movies! The rest of the Ion multiplex (Ion Life, Qubo) will populate WPME's subchannels once the sale closes sometime in Q1 2018 (assuming there are no snags in finalizing the transaction.) Here's the planned post-sale lineup by station:

WPME
35.1 Ion
35.2 Ion Life
35.3 Qubo

WPXT
51.1 CW
51.2 MyNet
51.3 MeTV
51.4 Escape
51.5 Laff
