Listned to the 1st Hour of the So Called Change. One thing that Changed is that there is No Morning Show on Yet. Not the first mention oh Star and BucWild. Only other Change I noticed that this hour Every Song they Played was at least 6 months old.

I was Up most of last night Listening to 94.1 One thing I did Notice is the Station is Sounding more Like Urban AC They seemed to have Gone from 50/50 Hip Hop/R&B to 20/80 Hip Hop/R&B Between every Song now they Have a new Announcer Saying We are Changing "everything" Get Ready for a Major Change And this New Announcer no Longer Saying 94.1 The Beat just 94.1

Back to the Radio to See if they Launch Star and Buc Today. The Website is Ready (you still have to go in the Back way)

2ND Hour Update Not Much Different Except there Seems to be More Commercials than Music. Maybe 2 Current Songs this Hour the others Again All about a year or so Old or Older.

3RD Hour Update Not Much Different than the 2nd Hour Now the Website is up to ALL Again(no more format flip site) Now Showing Everyone That Star And BucWild is the New Morning Show. Looks like the Beat Will be a Classic R&B/Hip Hop Station Unless this is a Spoof as well. I think this Music Setup will be a BIG mistake.

It's either f'd up execution or a strategy so brilliant I can't comprehend it.

Exactly the opposite of what I'd expect.

Unlike the new website which says "The Beat".. and the Star and Buc Wild link shows a "941 The Beat" logo.

Less is More During "Normal" Radio Station Hours But between 6 and 10 was like 3 mins of Music and 4 min of Commercials Still doing no more than 4 mins at a time But was like 5-6 Commercial Breaks.

Now it Seems they are Doing Some more Tweaking They are Becoming more Like Power 105.1 in NYC Doing a Mix of Today's and Yesterday's Hip-Hip/R&B I guess to fit in with the Format of the Station That Star and BucWild Broadcasts From

The R&B/Hip-Hop Ratio is evening now I'd Say now 60/40 Toward R&B The "Southern Rap" they Play is WAY Down I hear maybe 4 - 5 Southern Rap Songs now in rotation. That is a BIG Mistake, My opinion the More Southern Rap the Better.

Odd the Beat Website is Now Back to the Format Change look. Are they That disorganized or is All this "Part of the Plan"

Right after I post There was hardly no Southern Rap songs The last 4 out of 5 Songs Was Southern Rap :

It now says "Savannah Morning Beats". Are they going local, all-music, is this a stunt...what's the deal? I'm confused as hell...

Local Morning and Savannah Radio is an oxymoron they just don't go together

I think maybe the Jocks are all taking a vacation. I don't think they are gone. The one Overnight One that "seems" to be there isn't I know for a Fact is Premade Voice tracked. Cause She Came on like every 5 mins I guess when the Station had a "glitch" and did nothing but Airchecks for a half an hour. Hearing nothing but this Station is under evaluation. The Details about 94.1 the Beat is Top Secret and Confidential. We are Changing Everything etc.

I especially like the way they removed Star and Buc Wild from the "Beat Jocks" menu and replaced them with "Savannah Beats". And then, to really impress us, when you pull down that menu, you get an error message.

Meanwhile, if you go the Star and Buc Wild website, they still show a "94.1 The Beat, Savannah" logo.

Very smooth. :)

Now watch what Happens I bet within the next Day, 94.1 the Beat is Removed from Star and Bucwild Site Since I think CC runs that site too, Probably the same person will remove the logo.

I think CC is Intentionally doing this to try to throw us off.


Hey CC! You forgot to Remove Star and Bucwild link From the Side menu when you click the Beat jocks links ;-)

No. It's not the same person. Star and Bucwald's isn't even a CC site.

:) I don't think they really care. Russ runs The Beat site and he might be messing with us.. he is lurking but pretending to ignore us.. but I don't think anyone at CC really cares too much about what we think.
