WQBU Signal Question

I guess since they're the official station of the Red Bulls, they have to be somewhere... They don't even simulcast on WCAA anymore (they don't exist)...

Yes, you can get WQBU in Jersey City. I used to live there. Reception is not that great though probably because the tall buildings from NYC partially block radio signals from the east.

Last I heard, 92.7 FMs transmitter was on top of the North Shore Towers apartment complex in Queens, right at the border with Nassau. Not sure if it's still at that location. :)

Yes you can get 92.7 WQBU is Jersey City......In fact you can get 92.7 quite well in a good part of NE Jersey up to Rockland County NY......However, once past Mahwah and over the hills it will quickly change to WRRV from Middletown.

Sometimes, if there is no pirate on that frequency, I manage to pick up WQBU from the Sea Bright area.

When 92.7 was WDRE in the early 1990's, the signal would barely come in in Brooklyn, let alone Bayonne. They used to simulcast on 103.9 in Philadelphia during that period. That's probably where a lot of their Jersey listeners came from.
