WQDI Low Power Channel 20 At It Again

This time, it is just a dead carrier on main and all subchannels. Been that way for about two weeks.
I emailed them about it last week. Last time when they were constantly broadcasting a broken broadcast, it was fixed fairly quick after my second message.

I recommend that you send them an email about this issue as well, both on their website and to the licensee so that they know that this isn't an isolated problem.

E-mail?

I thought they got their correspondence via message in a bottle.

"If a station that nobody cares about airs snow 24 hours a day...Does anybody see it???"

Fun fact: After WKBF went off the air in 1975...I tuned in after school for several days. Wondering if the old programming was actually behind all that snow and if I'd hear or catch a glimpse of it between the static. Also, like the good folks at Kaiser would've had a change of heart or something and brought the station back. 🙄

WQDI & WEKA left the barn door unlocked too many years ago to even give me a glimmer of hope of stable sub-channels and no technical issues. Eight "Shop 'til You Drop" repeating networks flashing on and off the screen, just don't cut it.

Noticed this evening that WQDI-LD is off the air, as my Zenith converter box isn't seeing anything on RF 21. Perhaps someone at HC2 finally realized that the station was broadcasting dead air and decided to go silent until the problem is fixed.

Does anyone have an update on WQDI?
No, other than they requested to go silent on April 11, which was granted on the 19th, but never bothered to turn off the transmitter, which is still broadcasting dead air to this day.

Gotcha. I was just curious because this new diginet "Salem News Channel" was added today to WQDI 20.7, but no one can watch it. Lol. Why would HC2 put it on that station, unless they plan to bring it back?

Don't know. However, I noticed that BeIN Sports is now on KONV-LD 28.1, so I don't know if HC2 moved it there from WQDI-LD.
