When is WQEN AM 680 Scheduled to go on the air? You mentioned this is the new station scheduled to go on the air. Can you give us an estimated date when this station will start? Also, what will the wattage of this new station be?, and will this station at AM 680 reach the Philadelphia area. And last, will this station be directional or non-directional, what format will it be? Sorry I'm asking so many questions.
 
The call lettersWQEN are assigned to 103.7Mhz in Trussville, Alabama which is a suburb of Birmingham.A complete search of the FCC's CDBS and AM Query Databse reveal NO new stations on 680Khz in the Pennsylvania, New York or New Jersey. Nor is there any AM station coming on the air at 680khz with the call letters WQEN anywhere in the United States.Unless I'm quite obviously missing something.......
 
yes your Both missing something..Re Read the orgional Post.. It Never Mentions that its an AM station. your reading to deep into the post..... and Yes WQEN 680 is in the FCC database. yours just not looking in the right place.... It also seems that Neal is Not allowed to Post on this group anymore...... He can read But cannot reply.....
 
ah, are the call letetrs of this station really WQEN680 and it's on like 530 or 1610Khz.. something like that as a TIS?
 
WQEN680 is the callsign of a GMRS station licensed to Neal Newman.It was part of an April Fools post.
 
Very Good Tomyour the first one to figure it out...I never said it was an AM station nor did I state it was a broadcast station.I just stated that I was granted WQEN 680 by the FCC and it could be heard in NY,NJ and PA Neal-CE,MRBIWTTM/WHWH,WYGG,WUPC.W220AAI love a good truthful joke
