This flamethrower is back on with 10, yep that's ten watts of power. It's broadcasting Catholic programming. I can't tell if it's from EWTN or not. I'm 7 air miles away and can barely hear it. WACV is in the mix with it.

I see that they have a STA from the Commission for 10 watts and a "whip type antenna". The coordinates listed show them to be approximately 1 mile east of Highway 31 on 91. This is probably a temporary measure to insure they don't loose their license.

If I recall, they have been off the air for the past year.

I found their location today. Hwy 91, 1/2 mile southwest of the US 31 intersection. They are broadcasting from a Catholic business, with the antenna approx 15' off the ground mounted to the sign of the business. They are currently running a repeating CD of a sermon questioning the "Once Saved, Always Saved" concept.
I was given a "tour" of the studio, which is a CD player connected to an audio processor. The "manager" asked me why did his signal improve when he added guy wires, and I explained to him the wires are conductive, and acting like a ground plane of some sorts. I told him if he would purchase some copper wire the length of his antenna and bury them below the ground and connect them to the base of the antenna it would improve the range even further. Overall, very nice people there at the makeshift station.
