WQIK AM question

What station was originally WQIK? It seems that it had bounced back & forth between frequencies. I think it's been on 1050, 1090, 1280 & 1320. I know WSVE is now gone.

Apparently WQIK began as an AM station on 1280. It was also on 1090, 1050 and eventually 1320.

WSVE 1280 ended up under Willis Broadcasting, which had to surrender the license to the FCC.

WQIK-AM traded frequnciess on a few occassions with WIVY-AM, both operating on 1050 kHz and 1280 kHz at different times. WQIK-AM operated on (in no particular order) 1050 khz; 5kw-DA-D; 1090 kHz; 50kw-DA-D (later 10kw-DA-D); 1280 kHz 5kw-DA-D; and lastly 1320 kHz; 5kw-U; DA-N. For the first time in its history WQIK-AM added full night servce with 5kw-DA-N when Marshall Rowland moved WQIK to the former WVOJ facilities on 1320 kHz.
