For the middle Georgia folks, new format launched a few weeks ago. Originally, 101.3 was a southern gospel station that went into a more contemporary christian direction. Little over a year ago, the format went into a variety hits or classic hits direction and dubbed themselves as Smash Hits. Earlier this month, the station once again did a change to "Today's Hits Q101.3" and covers Warner Robins to Vidalia; Sandersville to Fitzgerald (50K watts). The station sounds less like CHR and more like HOT AC (don't think CHR would work around those parts and Hot AC is pushing it). Magic 98.1 out of Dublin tried the Hot AC about 5 years ago but has since went more in a AC direction.
