WQKO Still Off Air

A check of their website indicates:

1. Money is in short supply
2. Their tower owner wants too much rent
3. They need to buy a working EAS system "as required" by the FCC.....

Sounds like their going to sell off some of their properties.. They are selling their IL station ...
 
This explains why their translator in Warsaw at 98.7 has been broadcasting the high school station from Huntington for several weeks now...
