WQLV-FM MILLERSBURG sold for $2Million

WQLV-FM has been sold to Richard Cooper, VW. He owns no other stations. $100,000 down, $600,000 promissory note, and the balance at closing. ($1.3 million) WQLV serves Dauphin and Perry Counties, and does a pretty decent job of covering Metro Harrisburg.
This should be interesting.

Now the man who thinks a lot will somehow bring up WHYL and work in Lloyd's failed format. The NEPA chick will then say how QLV will outsell all of Route 81. The dub-c dude will agree with the NEPA chick. Gotta love the central pa board.

I'm sad I didn't see NEPA chick when I was at WNAK a few weeks ago or the dub-c dude when I was at WCOJ today. Where oh where are my radio-info junkies? :(<P ID="signature">______________

So Jolly sold Love99? Hard to believe...will he still be on-air, or have some kind of role with the station.

I worked with Jolly on and off for a few years...quite a character and to me at least a really nice guy.

The future of that station will indeed be interesting.

No, you silly goose! They will simulcast with 92.1

"Hot 92 and 99....the Beat of the Capital Region!"

Because this is radio-info.com and we feel every station in America should be dance or hip hop and not play that racist curmudgeon rock and roll s***.

Jolly Jim is a good guy---one of the last of the old-fashioned meat and potatoes small-market broadcasters in the area. I wish him a happy, long retirement.

I'd rather not comment on Jim Hepler. I don't have anything nice to say about him... and you know the old saying...<P ID="signature">______________

Whenever there's a meeting, I always run to the room first so I can get the barber chair.<P ID="signature">______________
