WQOK Is Now in Carrboro

Has anyone notice that WQOK made the move? I wonder how bad is the signal up north?

It's gone here.

- Trip

yeah, they made the move around labor day, I thought there was another thread on it already, they are running HD, I do notice their signal carries a lil further south now, its more listenable in fayetteville FWIW...their HD breaks up badly heading east becoming unstable in knightdale and complelty analog by zebulon...

Speaking of moves, just discovered today that UNC-Chapel Hill's student station, WXYC 89.3 FM, has, as of November 5th, moved from 400 watts atop the UNC Hospitals water tower to 1100 watts from around the 400 foot level of the WUNC-TV/FM tower at Terrel's Mountain, directional to the south/southeast to avoid co-channel WSOE, Elon in neighboring Alamance County.
