WQRC new morning show

During the time when RD was offline, WQRC on the Cape made some changes. Thought this was relevant to Boston since they brought in Karen Blake to do mornings.

They have also rebranded slight=ly as 99.9 The Q but still use the WQRC call signs frequently. Further they have moved the news from top of the hour to about :50 and shortened it to a 99 second news update (and plug their sister station as a source for a full top of hour update).

Also they have gone with what appears to be all local hosts eliminating John Tesh in evenings.

Seems like a move to counter Y101 and make things a bit quicker paced.

Comments? I'm wondering what happened to Shalene Jackson who was doing mornings previously.
 
no mention of her on their "contact staff" part of the website, they have everyone else right down to the janitor listed, but she is not there.

going to assume she is no longer asst operations manager and on a cape cod beach

lots of former big name talent went there to toil in a minor market it seems
