WQSR 102.7 Jack FM Sharing Music Logs

In what I am sure is a Clear Channel Premium Choice move, I just happenes to stumble on the faxt that 'Jack FM' is playing the identical music log to Cleveland's 106.5 "The Lake" Variety Hits station. Check out the playlists on yes.com I am sure there are other stations playing the same list

I can think of one that is doing more than just the music from the old WQSR.

Nothing new here...it's CC's Premium Choice...probably programmed deep in their nuclear bunker outside San Antonio.

DC101 and 102.1 the X in Richmond have the exact same overnight/early morning playlists...and the same unnamed jock.

Beats me why VTing the shift or just leaving it locally automated isn't still done. For somebody who listens to both stations in the same area, its sort of annoying to hear the same song 3 minutes later on the other station.

Way to go CC! "Premium Choice" should just be renamed "Mandatory Choice" anyway. The name sounds like crappy coffee you'd buy when you can't get Starbucks.

It was even more conspicuous--and annoying--when DC101 and the now-defunct Channel 104.3 in Baltimore had the same situation during overnights.

MIX 106.5 had their own set of problems there, which they have conveyed elsewhere with its own little caravan of fakes, frauds and phonies.

it's even worse than you're listening to iHeartRadio when I get sick of a station because of a bad song I switch to another station, 3 seconds later that crappy song is on again. Way to compete with Pandora and Spotify.

I moved out of Baltimore going on 20 years ago, when they were at 105.7, although I know they went down the dial to 102.7 and then to an urban format, sports, Jack. Even before leaving I went to XTRA 104 out of Washington, DC.
