WQUL Woodruff interference on 95.9 in Greenville

I've noticed that the translator on 95.9 W240BO for 1510 WQUL in Woodruff has a VERY powerful signal. If you go by the maps on Radio-Locator, there are a number of areas in Greenville/Mauldin at the end or outside of the WQUL translator's absolute fringe where it throws a solid, LOUD (and horribly processed) signal. Meanwhile, in WLTE's distant and fringe areas, the station comes in, but WQUL either loudly interferes on top of it or cuts in in a lot of areas. Noticed this even on S 291 in Greenville, decent WLTE signal with a bit of static but occasional rip ins from the Woodruff translator.

I know it's not really a big deal as the areas are solidly covered by EARTH on 103.3 but I'm surprised a translator that far away with such low height is able to overpower a class A FM that on paper should be coming in better. When WLTE signed on I'm surprised W240BO wasn't required to move if Chuck FM had to move from 97.7 due to an upgrade. The 95.9 from Woodruff is REALLY loud and is running in mono.

This strong translator signal on 95.9 is probably the reason why the HD Radio signal from Channel 96.1 Charlotte will no longer consistently lock on at my location near Mauldin, SC. Used to always lock on reliably until about a year ago. But the analog for 96.1 is still strong and clear, and they have very good audio processing. Just tired of all these local translator signals interfering with the distant signals of full power stations from Charlotte which used to be clear. Problems also with 107.9 and especially 102.9, and sometimes static on 95.1 due to a Spanish station on 94.9.
