WQXI-FM 94.1 94-Q History

Someone needs to get in touch with Jeff Winter, who was a mainstay voice on WKXI-FM for a long time. Last I heard,
Jeff lives in Smyrna and he can fill in a lot of the information all of you are asking about. Red Jones is still around. He
lives somewhere north of Atlanta, and Sam Hale is still here too. Tony "The Tiger" Taylor also can fill you guys in on the
WQXI stuff really quickly and accurately. If someone will look up these guys, you will have the most accurate WQXI and
WKXI information you are seeking. BTW John Moore never played the organ at the Fox. That was Bob Van Camp, who
held forth on the "WSB Merry Go Round" for many many years. Bob died many years ago, but John Moore is still in Atlanta
and can possibly also be of help with some of this. John never worked for WQXI but he may have known a lot of the WQXI people.
Red Jones "your old Tallapoosa Pallie" is probably the best resource for the QXI stuff. He was their morning man for a very
long time.
