WQXI-TV (WXIA) Pro News Theme 1976 -- HELP

Okay... someone on this board told me the theme was from the Clockwork Orange soundtrack. They even told me which cut and where the music was located in the cut. Now the problem... years later and I cannot find the message. I have looked on the boards, my PMs, and my email archive.

Whomever you are, please tell me again. Thanks!

Here is the theme music in a montage of Atlanta news openings from 1976-77. The Pro News them is at 39 seconds... although the entire clip is a great trip down memory lane.

Just for fun, I found a 1977 11 Alive out takes and funnies that were put together for an office party or some such. It is funny... and, it has the best video quality of the great 11 Alive intro from 1977 that I have seen.

Notice they kept playing with the WPVI theme which I think WSB was using at the time.

Oh, and did you notice at the end how they changed the TV channel?

WSB was using the WPVI theme; in Athens we could also
get WLOS on cable and they used it for a couple of years
or so, as well as the "Move Closer To Your World" branding.

WAGA was using the ABC o&os "Eyewitness News" theme from
"Cool Hand Luke." Although it called itself "News Scene," the
music came with Pat Polillo, former news director at KGO San
Francisco. He couldn't use "Eyewitness News" (Westinghouse's
KPIX had that name) but he could use the music and he brought
the music and the "News Scene" name to Atlanta.
