Just read a report that 93.1 WQYX in Clearfield flipped to a simulcast of Hot 100... LMA? Is WCPA still oldies with the funky '70s jingles?

Yes, WCPA is still oldies, and using the jingle package they used in the 70's--ones from back in the day when Top 40 AM stations were still a big deal. They have a live announcer in the morning (Bob E. Day--who's tenure at the station is most likely the same as the age of the oldies package), but satellite the rest of the day.

Is this because of the recent decrease in power of Hot 100? Did they lose terriroty that 93.1 will give them back?

Is Forever also assuming control of WCPA, or will that be left on its own?

Not simulcasting right now. Local news on QYX, music on Hot 100.
