Congratulations to all at Citadel B Ham for taking a once dominant station to 19th 12plus awesome! Not an easy feat. Also Citadel B Ham was able to avoid having ANT of their stations in the top 5. Good job people much better than when Dick Broadcasting owned those stations. Can't wait to see what Citadel does with the ABC stations.

Despite being the proud owner of satellite radio, I hate to see what has happend to the X. I'm divided; part of me wants the former great WRAX to rebound. Another part of me wants to see the poor thing put out of its missery.
______________

Citadel can look at the bright side....The X is #8 in the Tuscaloosa book.
But, still behind most of the local stations with the exception of RTR. Maybe the X should play the Alabama fight song behind the top-of-the-hour ID and focus on being the "Rock of the Capstone" or "100.5 the Tide". Being B'ham's rock station isn't working.

That's really a good idea. That frequency is a Tuscaloosa signal, not really a Birmingham signal and they should focus on T-Town. WANZ did fairly well, better than WRAX is doing now, actually.

We may never get the old X back, but getting the old Z100 back would be a start.

Even more curious was the AM and talk battles down at the bottom. WJOX is the #1 talk station in the city beating ERC, YDE and API in that order.

But even at that, they were not the #1 AM station on the dial...WAGG took that spot with Gospel music even despite ENN still having decent ratings. Also note that WBPT 106.9 finished below WAGG as did WNCB.
______________

Doesn't this book include the early part of the college football season? Looks like they spiked up the same way a year ago, too. . .

The X is barely teetering over WNCB now. That's quite a drop (about 50%) in 3 months.

unbelievable...
