WRCN: Many moons since Chaz and AJ

Normally I wouldn't listen to a sporting event unless I was getting paid for it, but yesterday on a ride to Connecticut with a Jets fan we were dialing around to find the game after 1050 started to fade right outside of the Bronx.

Eventually I recalled the Jets on 103.9

Long story short... we heard a promo for their morning show... Double D and Glenn? How long has this abomination been on? They sounded like they could barely read from the quality of the promo... and the online audio provided by WRCN proves it. There's better radio right now on WGBB and WNYG (well, maybe not WNYG).

Forced laughter while reading moronic stories doesn't cut it.

So when you say there's been "many moons" since Chaz and AJ in the morning, are you implying that the current morning hosts on WRCN are butt-heads? ;D

Double D and Glen have been on since they fired Tony Page a few years ago...

They used to have a girl named Jen with them, but I dont think she is doing mornings now.

I guess I was one who didnt get them, I never was taken by their show, I dont listen to WRCN much anyway anymore, I did when they were on 94.3

Things at WRCN have changed so much over the years, when it was on both signals, 943 and 1039, it was pretty good, they played a lot of active rock, when Ralph Tortora was PD. However this post led me to check them out and I must say that they do play some good stuff, songs that dont get on the other stations, so it was a nice listen, too bad the other stations interrupts me in Nassau.
