According to radio-locator.com (and confirmed via the FCC), WRDU-FM received FCC approval Monday to move their city of license from Wilson to Knightdale and will give up their Class C-0, 100,000-watt facility in Middlesex to drop to a Class C-1 with 80,000 watts from the WCPE tower near Wake Forest. They'll cover the metro better, but lose a lot of the east. This is the third of Clear Channel-Raleigh's stations with a CP: WRSN "Sunny 93.9" has a CP to move their city of license from Burlington to Cary, while their antenna and that of their sister station, the Durham-licensed WDCG "G105", leave their respective towers at the Terrell's Mountain/Chatham County antenna farm for the WLFL-TV tower in Apex (WDCG with a downgrade to do so)
