that's funny, I thought they were a different call letters thanks to WEEI, like WPEI was it? Hey, if anyone is in the area, listen in and see what their playing...?

Atlantic Coast isn't doing well with their legal ID's.How much effort would it take to get it right? They just did an ID on the trimulcast WJJB am & fm Westbrook,Portland,Topsham,WRED Saco,WLOB Gray. They spend quite a bit of time away from the WEEI network. Is there anyone in the building on Warren Ave. after Ray & Ted leave in the morning?
I log a lot of time behind my windshield and for years have suffered through WEEI's marginal AM reception that was even worse every time an electrical storm occurred anywhere in the Northern Hemishere (or so it seemed). I had mixed feelings about the prospect of the 'EEI Network displacing the Bone in Southern Maine; it would have been a real blow for JJJ, but good for me. So the way it all came down was like the best of both worlds. Now if 95.9 would only stop dropping out everytime the Biddeford winds blow I could say I was genuinely happy....

the legals have always been sad on WLOB/WJJB....when 96.3 was talk they mentioned every town with more than 2,000 people in it i think
I've noticed the straying from WEEI programming up on 97.1/910 too.....local public affairs on sunday morning, no sox, no Costas on the radio, no BC football. Bangor gained a fox sports affiliate it seems like full time on the weekend, save for a couple hours of pats/sox talk shows from 'EEI.
