WRFF HD-2 Ditches the "Sunlight Lounge"

After months of flipping back and forth between alternative music and Frank Sinatra on my HD Radio, I finally heard this morning that 104.5 has flipped their HD-2 format to what's being called "Classic Alternative". I'm not sure on which date it actually flipped. I can't find any information on 104.5's site - but it is listed on the ibiquity site here: http://www.ibiquity.com/hd_radio/hdradio_find_a_station/PA/Band/PhiladelphiaPA

"Classic Alternative"? Sounds a LOT like Y-100/Y-Rock on XPN's "Nooner" ....

How is CC still allowed to do smooth jazz on 106.1 HD-2 with the format on 97.5 now? Put the Sunlight Lounge on 106.1 HD-2?

"Radio Radio"? Sounds like what's running on WQBW 97.3's HD2 in Milwaukee. (WQBW is also a Clear Channel station)

I burned out on it real fast.

I wouldn't be surprised if what's playing on 104.5 is identical to what's on the Milwaukee station - it sounds way more polished than some other HD-2 programs in town, which leads me to believe it's some sort of satellite feed from CC Headquarters or something.

HD-2 stations for CC are produced in ohio.

Probably the very same thing that can be heard at CC's Format Labs at http://www.clearchannelmusic.com/formatlab (search the list for RadioRadio)... the channels there power many of CC's HD-2 signals...
