Still have not heard what WRHL is planning on running when the AP network stops on July 15th.(the date mentioned on one of the boards) Any information out there yet?

5pm-9pm CNN Headline News with Local Interaction Mornings
9am RFD
10am CNN Headline News
11am Trading Post
Noon Hour News, Sports, Markets, etc with Farm News
1pm-4pm Tom Martino
4pm When Radio Was
5pm-8pm Michael Reagan
8p-Overnights CNN Headlines

I was closing on conforming station to more of a "soft talk" station with Advice, consumer talk, etc and local stuff with vinettes providing a constant information stream when we weren't local. I just wanted the "soft talk" to be a bit edgy, so that it wasn't squishy, just not hard core political (like every other talk station around.) I would like to see a continued move in this direction - but, hey, I'm heading out so it'll be up to whoever steps in to do what he or she will. I think the station would have been as cool as could be, but I didn't finish it, so we'll see.

Someday I'd like to program my idea of a great, non political talk station. Highly profitable, could reach a nice audience, tsl would be lengthy, demo would be upscale, and local interaction would different than what you see now. Anyone with an AM station out there that they'd like to see made into something unique and marketable that can be done largely with Sat? Email me: [email protected]. We'll talk.

Haven't I met you before...at a tour of the station a couple of months ago with John Desjarias (sp)?

Could be... I did a tour of the station and the transmitter site for the Communications class at Kishwaukee college. Wasn't too long ago, back in April I believe. Great bunch, lot of fun.

Yep, that was us. Yeah, you were going kinda fast to the site so when we where waiting for the rest to get in their cars I remember we lost you. By the way I am John.
