WRJD AM 1410 and WOLI AM 910 combine

Does Davidson still own WOLI? I thought they were brokering religious Spanish programming.

What a joke of a company, they ruined the 103s. My hope is someday those two are bought, run as a simulcast (neither can succeed on their own, but combined they cover decently), and something decent is done with them.

WRJD is in Durham, NC. Does this mean that no local programming will be done by 910?

I just don't see that as being a successful simulcast.

They are still owners of WOLI -AM Per FCC WEBSITE

so i guess AM 1410 may have went into a LMA with Davidson Media where Am-1410 run the station.http://radio.about.com/library/bldef-143.htm

The WOLI simulcast of WRJD has apparently come to an end. Don't know the details, but WOLI was imaging as Rejoice 910 WOLI instead of the straight simulcast with AM 1410 in Durham.

The best use for 910 is as a community-oriented station (not brokered!), perhaps. I don't see them getting anywhere with the brokered concept.

It's Davidson's business model. Brokered they pay you. Community-oriented you have to pay people to work for you.

I know Davidson will never do that. I meant that is the best thing for the freq. 910 has very little, if any potential under Davidson's ownership. However, if it was under more "normal" ownership, something like I suggested would be the most viable for 910.

Davidson should sell it. They've sold a lot of stations in recent times.
