WRKA

Is the WRKA tower done & the antennas up? It's very possible they have backup antenna for WRKA or one of their other stations on that tower.

Greg Hahn is the chief at Cox and frequents this forum. Perhaps when he's done with the site he can shed some light on the mystery antenna for us.

...Earlier comment...A station that really does not cover Louisville...Humm? In my old 1999 Ford Contour, that station comes in very well up to Scottsburg and just shy of Hanover and Madison.. I guess that's 2.5 shares of ghost listeners... I'd say enough to make a 'dent'.. More than alot of the AM's in the heart of Loo-uh-vull.... Just a thought and observation, not a slam..... My biggest complaint of WAKY is playing some bad digital dubs of hits (Signs by The Five Man Electrical Band sounded like it was coming from a bad cassette copy in mono)... Invest in downloadable files.... Plus, the midrange needs to be tweeked down on the music and 'for sure' on the mic.. It's muddy in the middle....Just like the Ohio River... 8)
