Shows how cheap Entercon is that they wouldn't have fill-in's most of this past New Year Weekend and New Year's Day. They were all repeats of shows that weren't worth listening to in the first place. To be sure Jay Serverin was a repeat on 96.9 but that was the only local talk show in repeat. By the way, Severin comes back and then takes off. Is he sicker than he has let on. He was going to move to Manchester-By-The Smell but that should not have take a month.
 
Wrko is SPORTS PLUS. Get used to it. Todd Feinburg should never have been allowed as much airtime as he has obtained. If you are a good lieutenant with little talent, no problem for Julie Wolfe and Jason Khan, no problem whatsoever.

The Talk Station, with an afternoon drive host in serious need of elocution lessons.

Well, I think Howie is worth listening to...as for 'RKO yes I wonder if we'll soon hear them saying
SportsRadio680--Celts & Sox for starters. Feinburg is good, local talk. Entercom put more local talk on the
air than CC did with Air America locally, that's for sure.

WEEI and WRKO are the dead zone during holidays. After all, there was nothing to discuss yesterday--NFL playoffs, college bowls...

which is why, once again, it's good that Boston has WWZN so you can hear sports talk any time...

Howie Carr is paid to talk for "the masses" on the air, Mumbles is not. It's perfectly understandable to expect a radio personality to have excellent speaking skills.

Meanwhile, I noticed live DJs are now on la nueva Rumba 1200/1430. How did Canal Claro find the
dinero to pay them when they couldn't find money for local daily hosts when it was liberal talk?
...ads are still in English for now, though...but am sure they're working on getting ads from
the local Hispanic community, etc. Or comerciales/anuncios servicio a la comunidad en espanol
