He attacks every one that needs to be put on it's place, and that include Republicans, Democrats, etc. As far as their daughters not being part of the war efforts, they are not being forced out! I bet they enlisted, plus he has daughters that are not even old enough to enlist, so this attack against Carr and his daughter is not a valid argumentual point!

I agree that Howie gets out of touch with reality reguarding certain subjects, but his show is far more entertaining and informational, compared to most of the other talk radio shows. If Entercom-Boston gets rid of his very popular show, they must be crazy. He brings ratings, and advertising revenue that would not be there if they go with a syndicated show at his current timeslot.

I don't listen to Carr enought to debate that but Hannity and Ingraham do their absolute best to screen out liberals. This was debated in an earlier thread elsewhere on the board about how Rush and other hosts screen. It was agreed by left and right that Hannity's show is a very tough screeners.

It is my belief that Ingraham is nearly as bad as Hannity. These two hosts do not debate, they denigrate.

No, a real "talk station" is entertaining and brings out emotion. If you tune in day after day because you can't believe this idiot is saying what he or she is saying, then the "talk station" has done its job or if you tune in day after day because you like what this genius is saying, then the station has done its job as well. Because if you are listening to the program you are listening to the ads and that is what any station is about. Don't judge a host by beliefs or beliefs of callers. If you are hooked, for better or worse, they are good no matter who or what they are!
