WRKO Brokering More Shows?

the station sounds absolutely awful. someone play Tone Loc for 3 days and change format. please. pretty please. M.C. Hammer?
 
I heard that promo too--something for aquatic fitness. Maybe a condition of airing the brokered
show is playing promos--in prominent slots (like during the Not The Howie Carr Show)
 
This health program has been on for the last two Saturdays, starting at 10am and running for an hour. RKO is doing everything it can to drive listeners away............

That show is brutally bad. Why on earth would they break up the flow of local talk with that health program? It makes no sense. I'm glad that Moe has managed to keep his Saturday morning show. It has become a staple for starting my weekend. Anyone know what he does the rest of the week? That Saturday show can't be his only income source.
 
Wait.....You haven't heard the H57 Hoodia and Skin Zinc "shows" in da pipeline! ::) 'member "snake oil sundays" a few years back..... :p Wigs Whitley is just as bad connin' all doze dopes to pay to go on his sad cruises so him and da family can ride fo' free! Har-Kay-Oh has Blown for years..... It's OVAH Johnny! O-V-A-H....... ::)

The aerobics show is hideous, I don't listen, there's a lot I don't listen to on RKO these days, used to be I could listen all day, now I'm down to just a few hours here and there....half of Sunday isn't worth listening to and now part of Saturday has gone to kahn and wolfe's insanity. As for Moe, I believe he may be retired....he used to be in sales, at least now he's taking some time off to see his son play baseball. I like Moe, he cracks me up! :D

why hasn't Shemp, uh, Moe ever gotten a regular gig at the station? Did he ever have a shot at one? He's been there over 20 years and is still a bench player.
 
SOX appeal! Ha! But wait. It might be better than the two hour (or is it one)? "Vitamin Guy" which is what Ellen at 11AM calls him. I actually think her references to Healthy Living, which I do believe is the formal name of the show, have been pretty hilarious. I happen to enjoy hosts ranking on their own station when they deserve it. Brokered shows: There will probably be more of it and it feels/seems totally disrespectful to folks who arent drivetime listeners and would actually like some decent news/talk at other times during the week. Would they ever do it during a prime time slot?

Ummm...WRKO has a grand total of 6 hours of brokered programming a week, 6a-12p, and THREE of those hours are one of the longest running, most popular, and profitable (for both the station and the producer) weekend shows in the market.

VERY far behind. Since this is a copyrighted prediction by the same person who has been 100% wrong with all his other predictions, you'll pardon us if we don't hold our collective breath waiting for this one to come true.
