WRKO: Opportunity lost.

Front page story in the Herald about Howie wanting the judge in the Finneran case to jail him because of the threat. Lots of people sure to tune to WRKO today at 3 pm, right, to hear what Howie has to say?

1) WRKO running Red Sox spring training game

2) On the WRKO live streaming, you can't hear Howie because they're running Fox Sports instead.

Maybe Howie will be on when the game ends, but this is a lost opportunity

try Internet Explorer won't work on Firefox.

They're talking about Yao Ming or something

Howie can be heard on WGAN 560 Portland ME if you can pick it up. He's talking about a proposal to
ban smoking in cars and apparently will wait till after the game when WRKO picks him up
to bring up Finneran

oops it's on WNTK streaming

Re: WRKO: Opportunity gained

it is really interesting to hear spring training. The new announcer is better than Truppiano; now if they can only put Castiglione out to pasture.

Howie is missing in action. Ha Ha. It's a long way down for "The Captain"

I actually kind of preferred Trup though the new guy isn't bad. he sounds "young" and I guess he is younger but I kind of like a more baritone voice to contrast with the higher pitched Joe C. When RKO was replaying the
playoff games there were some cases where Trup sounded a bit too laid back/humdrum during some
exciting parts but there were many more others where he came to life: Jump on his back, fellas...

Howie came back on at 4:10 pm--this kind of thing will happen a couple more times this week. I'm
resorting to webstreams (and they had the wrong stream up!) now--jeez this is like the displaced
Air America listeners! (Up in VT fans of VT's own Thom Hartmann and other prog. talkers are getting
"women's talk" instead on WTWK effective today..)

T-R-U-P-I-A-N-O

and if they put Joe out to pasture (and I hope they won't), can he take Eddie Andelman with him?

Did you know that the guy from Buffalo Tom (Tom Janovitz, I think his name is) did some Red Sox Radio
bumper music awhile back, and the name of his band was, tongue in cheek, the True Pianos?
