WRKO picks up Red Eye Radio (?)

WRKO's site is now listing Red Eye Radio 1-5 am weeknights instead of Howie Carr reruns, which started last week (w/ loss of Coast to Coast). I think this is the new show w/ Doug McIntyre

Were they carrying the NBA all star game?

Howie is on vacation this wk so I wonder if this is just a 1 wk trial or something but if it's
permanent I wonder why Wolfe was praising Howie and his importance to the station in
the Herald, and a banner ad on the RKO site said "Want more Howie? YOU GOT HIM!"
But days later they stop it? Maybe this Red Eye show is something they wanted to grab
on to right away (redeye...isn't that the drink that makes you "fall down, and fight back and lose?"
as Bill Cosby said in one routine?) Or it's the overnight flights you take.

And not to be confused with a Fox News Channel show of same name. No this is Red Eye RADIO

And were you aware that, in this thread, there is actually one message besides this one, that you--personally--did not post? NBA AS game was on WEEI. WRKO was running BC-Florida State game(ACC Sunday night baskeball game of the week).

Maybe it was an interim plan until they got more information on the new "Red Eye" show, and once they considered it a very viable option, they signed on and done away with recycled Howie Carr.
