WRKO"s Sunday Morning Garden Show Cut?

Heard a spot for another DULL investment show that WRKO is running from 9A-10A on Sunday morning on WRKO. Does that mean that RKO is cutting Jim Zappo and Moe Lausier's Garden Show?

Shame - the only interesting show on WRKO.

The inability to sell a weekend gardening show is overwhelming evidence that the RKO sales staff couldn't pitch Paris Hilton in a maximum security prison.

Coming from an finance background, I'd find the investment show a HELL of a lot more interesting than the gardening show. I care more about my financial and future financial security than what kind of grass is growing in my back yard

garden shows are an EASY sell

Let's see what's on the radio...gladiolas? Investing? Personally I would find
neither of those of interest (but this Sunday I'll be busy anyway doing a
show myself, filling in for Doug Mascott, plug, plug, on WMWM :) )

that bites, I used to look forward to hearing how the shrubs in my gaaaaahdin are very wintah haaaaaaaaaahdy. Seriously, Jim Zippo has the thickest accent ever. Maybe they could axe the restaurant show too.

Paul Parent had that time slot some years ago, but left because of some sort of syndication dispute. So they put the current WRKO show together. Maybe the market was too narrow for two shows, especially pitted against each other as they are.

I lioke Paul Parent's way of handling callers. He is endlessly patient, indulging, and always charitable.
