That site was set up not long ago but didn't have the WRKO logo or a listen live link--now it does. And I note wrko dot com redirects to it! Waiting for iHR to sell 1430 so they can take over WRKO. Might Rush return there?

ID on WRKO says now on WZLX 100.7 HD2
The RBDS on WZLX HD2 now says ( Artist: ) "The Voice of Boston" ( Title: ) "WRKO", and is simulcasting them.
Bummer, I liked "Radio Mojo", I hope it comes back somewhere. 100.7 HD3 still appears to be off the air.
107.9 WXKS-FM HD2 is now ( Artist: ) "Newsradio 1030" ( Title: ) "WBZ" and is also simulcasting them.
"Evolution" EDM that was on 107.9 HD2 is now on 101.7 WBWL HD2. No more HD rebroadcast of WKOX.

Crazy Kuhner announced on the air last week that IHEART gave him a one year contract. He has also mentioned that IHEART owns a lot of stations and his ratings are good enough for him to go national.
So what does iHR do with Rush etc--do they make 1200 the equivalent of 1430 with national hosts? If Kuhner were to be syndicated would it be at noon?They're committed to Rush.Would they ditch Beck?
Krazy K000nah's been blabbing about "GOING NATIONAL, BAAAAAYBE" since he moved into the noon timeslot...3? years ago now.
Personally, I can't see his low-brow antics stirring up any type of national following, when you have the real heavyweights like Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, etc.
But then, what do I know, because...
Closest Kuhner got to national was some years back when he did fill ins for Michael Savage, which probably brought him to RKO's attention

Howies thing is he is local/regional, it does not play well outside of New England.
Kuhner on the other hand does national issues all the time, he could in theory stay focused on national topics and be in a better position than Howie, but Kuhner's whole on air persona would be a turn off almost anywhere, including here.
He may have a 1 year contract with the new owners, I doubt very much he is staying in the noon to three slot once WKOX gets sold off and Premier's programming becomes available to ( or forced upon) WRKO.
I Heart still has stations in the Aloha trust they have not been able to dump, now they have real dog stations in the Ocean States Trust, they may not want to wait too long before moving Premier products to 680, so your guess is as good as mine as for how long IHRT is going to keep their star player down in Triple A before they move him back onto the 680 roster.
Have heard my source's source had his info wrong...for now, RKO is still on Guest St 
Reminds me quite a bit of the situation John DePetro is in.....still pining away to go national, but in the meantime bellowing each mid-day to an audience of dozens on a one-lung AM station in Rhode Island.....(a show for which he BUYS the time)......with no real hope of ever escaping "The Cork-Screw State".

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...crazy kooooooona going national? Priceless. When he took over the noon to three slot back in July of 2015 he announced that if his ratings were up by December he would be going national....that was 2 1/2 years ago...at this stage no one in their right mind takes him seriously about his ratings, he has a habit of saying that his ratings are "through the roof", the question is, how low is the roof? Does anyone really think a national audience is going to put up with his childish nonsense...the stupid voices, the hysterical laughing, the mocking of people who don't agree with him. When he first came to town he was riveting then he turned into a hysterical loon.

koooooooooona's stupid antics will keep him local...as I said in an above post, no one in their right mind takes him seriously about his ratings and no national audience would tolerate his BS...he may play semi-well to the local audience but that nonsense will not play well with a national one.And some syndie shows may be homeless soon as Talk Radio Network may be done, unable to pay Westwood One for uplinks etc
