WRKO's Racism Will Not Be Deleted As Easily As These Posts

Kerry Healey couldn't even stay with the same faith in which she grew up. Born as a Roman Catholic but Muffy became an Episcopal when she moved to Poloponies. You know, a better class of people.
As to lying she lied through he very expensive capped teeth today denying any knowledge of the murderer released to work in her very State House.

Casablanca can't deal with his candidate inability to not put foot in mouth and worse lie. Then again, Casablanca wants to play the minority card in a state where nearly EVER FU*KING pol is a Democrat. Give me a break.

Isn’t choice of religion just an educated guess on which door will get you into ‘heaven’? How dare she not wear the yolk of the choice her parents made (said with tongue firmly in cheek). There’s no way she could govern a commonwealth! ::)

There are many reasons to not like her, but Casablanca, you are floundering here.

I just can't wait for the debate on the 19th to watch Deval make Healey squirm big time.

Of course, the choice of her faith should be hers. Still, it is just another example to point to the appearance that Kerry Healey is what Vance Packard once called "a status seeker". She seems to gravitate to those directions which will give her more "status". Don't think she is happy with who she is. Her change of faith is just an example of that and not a condemnation. That would not be fair or justified.
How Kerry Healey got there is an other story: She made money the old fashioned way and increased her "status" by marrying it just like that bimbo stripper who married the 80 + year old man and inherited his wealth. Of course, no one would wish on Kerry Healey the same sad fate of losing her child as the other one did recently.

I'm betting that Casablanca voted for John Kerry, who is everything he just described below.

Everybody sing in an upbeat tempo...

"Anna Anna Anna Anna Anna Nicole! lol

>>I just can't wait for the debate

Muffy meets Urkel. Are we gonna have to listen to that voice (DP's) for 4 years? Muffy's is easier on the
ears. Plus she'll probably invite me for champagne and brie over at Curtis Point :)

>>Doesn't anyone think that just perhaps when Deval was gearing up to run he should have done a scrub of all people linked to him to make sure there were no issues that could be used against him? You mean to tell me he didn't know his brother-in-law wasn't registered a as the law demanded?
If he didn't, then he's clueless and shouldn't be governor based on that alone.

Howie was mentioning that. He said he talked to Romney once and asked him if there was any "dirty laundry"
for him which the Dems might grab ahold of and he said something about swimming nude somewhere, or
swimming where he wasn't supposed to be. The news was released and quickly died down (well before the election). Did Deval bother to
examine anything in his background/relations that might trip him up...as for him saying he didn't know
sex offenders had to register, he's either lying or clueless.

>>the piece of S**** known as the Boston Herald

After the BH headline that screamed HEALEY IS A HYPOCRITE appeared yesterday, are you still of that opinion?

The Herald is not always my first choice, Raccoon. Thank you for pointing this out:

Slaying victim’s widow: ’Healey is a hypocrite’: Rips killer’s cushy state job

Kerry Healey ‘‘should be ashamed” that the man convicted of her husband’s slaying is now emptying trash at the State House - one of six killers in a cushy prerelease center.

YIKES! Not that they don't deserve a job, but the state house! ???

The problem with the Boston Herald - and Howie Carr - is that they do what they do for show; at least
the Globe puts up the appearance of sophistication. Isn't it fascinating that Conservatives gravitate to yellow journalism like the Herald/Enquirer while progressives stick with the more intelligent Boston Globe. I don't always agree with the Globe's policies, but it is the better of the two papers by far.

I think it's a matter of perception on both sides of the political aisle. Liberals perceive the Globe to be more sophisticated or more cerebral, so they gravitate to the Globe. Conservatives perceive the Globe to be overtly biased against their political leanings. I actually enjoy reading both papers because I accept them for what they are. At the end of the day, both newspapers are probably pretty close to the middle. But it's perceptions that make people believe one is more sophisticated, while the other is more liberal. You also have to remember that the Herald (like all tabloids) is designed to be read on a subway or a train by those who don't have a lot of time to pour over a 25 inch story. Hence the stories are shorter and the headlines are larger...easier to read in a cramped space.

Incidentally, the word tabloid only refers to the physical size of the paper, not the content.

Please, just be honest a good number of people do not like Deval Patrick for any other reason than he is black. Not saying...repeat...not saying anyone posting here is a bigot but many out there are.

It wasn't that long ago that Kevin Hagen White ran against Ed Brooke for Secretary of State and his campaign slogan was "VOTE WHITE".
Nothing worse than a phony liberal. Better a Louise Day Hicks who was right out front with her slogan, "YOU KNOW WHERE I STAND" and with her it was NOT at the back of the bus ...which would have tipped backwards if she did ;)

And this is where the guilty until proven innocent nature of racism accusasions comes from. The guy's name is White. Vote XX is a oft used slogan, because frankly, it works. Should he have gone with a potentially less effective slogan because somebody would call him a bigot on an Internet message board a couple of decades down the road?

Globe/Herald

However the word "Tabloid" now has a negative connotation. Get Rush Limbaugh to say a good, positive word like "liberal" with a snide tone and the sheep will forget the actual definition and pause. Pretty frightening, actually.

That being said, the Herald's smaller content is sometimes poorly written. Case in point, The Track Gals.
Norman Nathan was for more cattier and clever. Plus Norma, God love her, would never steal someone else's venom - she had plenty of her own. The two cows over at The Herald (hey, I didn't coin that term, don't blame the messenger) should stop learning how to write in public. They were marginally better on 96.9.

With Cosmo Macero gone all the Herald has is some decent music critics and a couple of Sports writers who matter, though certainly not Callahan Tunnel.

Whatever happened to Robyn Washington? Great writer that was silenced for daring to write a hard hitting story about Staples. My God - an ADVERTISER taken to task!

Remember The Posts of Normal Nathan- EYE Do.

Eye don't know about you but EYE miss those funny and ascerbic post from Normal Nathan at her table at The Ritz. EYE guess no one tells us anything anymore. Did Normal go on a world tour and never return.
Been to The Ritz Bar and Normal's table is still there with a chilled but never bruised Martini waiting for her.
EYE say it is time for Normal Nathan to return.

Wow, that has to be a new record. You played the race card twice in one thread.

For those who don't remember her, Mrs. Nathan's first name was Norma.

On 12/31/95, I met Norm Nathan, if only for a minute, when he did an "Old Time Radio" show as part of
Beverly First Night. Very nice man...IIRC, he helped in an effort to change the name of a street in
Middleton. It was known as "125th Street" because a black family lived there at one time (reference to
street in Harlem). Norm got them to change the name.

Norm passed on 10/29/96

>>he is black

C'mon, people might not be voting for him for reasons like the likelihood he'll raise taxes; the fear of
one-party government (as in nearly 100 per cent one party, incl. gov. office); his statement about
providing licenses for illegal aliens, and many other reasons. If you think the people of Our Fine State
are that bigoted, I feel sorry for you. Do you think we all show up in sheets at Fenway Park's offices
and demand they get rid of the black players? Do we refuse to listen to radio stations that play black
artists? Do we steadfastly refuse to watch a movie starring a black man or woman? Come on!

"...And I wish people would stop telling me Jesse Jackson is black. I KNOW that. Oh, is Jackson the black
guy? I thought DUKAKIS was the black guy! All this time I've been saying, a black Greek--what a novel
idea! It's about time! He should win just on originality!"--Jimmy Tingle from the album Strange Bedfellows:
Comedy and Politics (1988--also featured Randy Credico, Will Durst, and Barry Crimmins)

I will vote, as, I have conscious problems , when I do not use my right to do so. But, again, I have to decide which of my 6 dogs, will I write in for Governor. As for the other offices, I vote Indepenent, so, I have choices.
