WRKO's Racism Will Not Be Deleted As Easily As These Posts

Please, just be honest a good number of people do not like Deval Patrick for any other reason than he is black.

Rubbish! People are voting for or against Deval Patrick because of his stance on the issues. The novelty aspect of this election is ridiculous -- anyone who votes for Patrick just because he could be the first elected black governor is just as uninformed as anyone who votes for Healey just because she could be the first elected female governor.

I put "norman" instead of Norma, it was a typo. Hey Raccoon, cool that you met the late Norm Nathan.
I sat next to Norm & Norma's daughter at an Aerosmith concert in the 1980s. She must be in her 30s now - we were all in the press section - i think it was the Worcester Centrum, perhaps the night Bobby Rondinelli (Sabbath, Rainbow, Quiet Riot, B.O.C.) filled in for the m.i.a. Joey Kramer. Backstage Rondinelli called Mark from KEEL "Little Joe Perry". Mark DID look like Joe Perry, and was in an Aerosmith tribute band at the time. Ahh...the old days...

For those who do not remember those earlier posts here, the poster posted as NORMAL Nathan. Guess as a tribute to both Norma and Norm.
Had the great pleasure of working with Norm and the greater fortune that Norma liked me. God, save you if she didn't. She had her S*** list and her "A" list. Fortunately "EYE" was on the later not the former but she hated Jerry Williams and only shortly before she died did she bury what ever it was between her and David Brudnoy.

Certainly, the Inside Track Girls are a cheap imitation of the real thing which Norma - a trained journalist - was. Believe she went to BU and majored in journalism and poli sci. She also had the fastest little Honda Accord that wizzed through the Boston streets on the way from one party to another. "EYE" was in the passenger seat ' once '. ;)

The problem with the Boston Herald - and Howie Carr - is that they do what they do for show; at least
the Globe puts up the appearance of sophistication. Isn't it fascinating that Conservatives gravitate to yellow journalism like the Herald/Enquirer while progressives stick with the more intelligent Boston Globe. I don't always agree with the Globe's policies, but it is the better of the two papers by far.

Interesting, a long time ago (maybe 30 years) the old Herald Traveler was the conservative paper and the Globe the liberal (some would say, as they are now). . . but the Herald was more upscale and appealed to the "high society" crowd, while the Globe was the working-class paper.

Probably a sicko here and there that still thinks that. But I wouldn't say it's a significant number.

Just as there's still some folks (like one I used to work with) that won't vote for a woman, because they think women should just stay at home.

there are plenty of great women candidates - Hillary for President.

However your friend who thinks women should stay at home is right if they are talking about Kerry Healey! A housewife for Governess? ...i don't think so

KH: Mitt, would you like some sugar with your coffee.

MR: YES

KH: Do I have to stand 5 people behind you, Weld never did that to Cellucci, Celluci never did that to Swift.
Do I? Do I?

MR: YES

KH: Can you step down like Weld and Cellucci did and let me be Governor for a day

MR: NO

Being a Mormon Wilber does not drink coffee but I am sure she brings cafeine free Coke on a silver platter as she curtsies and backs out of the room.

Actually, Mitt admits to drinking Coke. All comedy, even sexist pig comedy, should be based in truth. :-*

Is it actually against Mormon belief to have Coke or any soda?

I have heard Wilber say he drinks Coke as long as it is cafeine free.
Maybe he is a Reform Mormon ;)

the caffeine thing. It's a wonderful parody of Mitt the hypocrite - ya think he doesn't drink coffee or coke? Or indulge in a few Pages? Please, he looks so gay! (Not that being gay is a bad thing; being a closeted hypocrite gay who hits on the pages, well...) He looks like he stepped out of GQ - Gayman's Quarterly.
If he's not Richard Simmon's not! He looks like the Rock Hudson gay husband to Kerry Healey's Doris Day frigid wife. what a mess. Now THAT would be a funny parody on WRKO if they had a bit of cleverness or wit.

Lucy Lu was right - the joke was absolutely sexist. That was the point. Until the Republicans can give us a woman like Hillary, not these hacks - Swift, Rice and Healey (sounds like a lawfirm for people who get ill from cafeteria/hospital food) sexist jokes will be mandatory.

WRKO PRESENTS "PILLOW TALK" AT THE WILBUR THEATER STARRING MITT HUDSON AND DORIS HEALEY

KH (looking longingly at Mitt as head hits the pillow, reaching out to touch his head): Oh, you're so cute

MR: DON'T MUSS MY HAIR

KH: Could I be Governess for the day, pretty please?

MR: Look, I have an important meeting with Bob Foley's ex-page, don't keep me up all night with your sweet nothings, which are 1 % sweet and 99 % nothings

KH: I'd love to be Governess for the day

MR: Will you shut up

You know I couldn't decide who to vote for...
I hate all these stiffs and can't figure out why any of them would want to be Governor except for their egos. Luckily it just isn't a very important job and they really can't mess up things much. However thanks to hearing the views of Joe and Paul daily on here I know exactly what to do. The opposite direction is now very clear..
GO MUFFY!! Now this isn't a ringing endorsement by any means but you have to figure the opposite of what Joe and Paul endorse is probably always your best choice. It's really sad that no one wants to be our governor. I guess who would want the job. If Mitt doesnt run for president I'd really love to hear a hard hitting interview at what turned him off the most about the job. But I guess will never hear that. When you think back it's hard to remember any lasting impact any particular governor had. I wouldn't be surprised if we have the worst voter turnout ever for this one.

Wilbur hopes Muffy will lose so he will look like the only Republicrat strong enough to win in a Blue state. Muffy's defeat benefits Romney and everything is about Romney. The Hell with anyone else. Just look at the way he has treated Muffy.

Polygamy was also a strongly held Mormon belief, but they seem to have gotten over that one too. I think your modern Mormon is allowed some wiggle room on the caffeine.

Like all good "religious" people.....there's a set of rules that the religion goes by, and each person picks what rules they want to follow and that's ok, but if someone else doesn't follow one of those rules, they freak out.

???

Gee....I thought the only religious people who 'really freaked out' were the evangelists in those TV infomercials? I'm sure you've seen a few of 'em?

They're the ones who swear that their ministry will come to a sudden end unless---EVERY VIEWER SENDS THEM A CHECK FOR AT LEAST A HUNDRED DOLLARS IN ORDER TO KEEP THEIR MINISTRY GOING? ;)

>>Wilbur
Get the name right: it's Willard Mitt Romney

Salary accepted by the Gov and Lt Gov for their one four-year term (and yes, they're rich and can afford it):
Romney: $0
Healey: $0

Globe, 12/31/02: "Incoming Gov. Mitt Romney and Lt. Gov. Kerry Healey will forego their salaries for the next four years to help augment the wages of top advisers during the state's worsening financial crisis.
Romney will use the forfeited salary to pay some members of his staff up to $150,000. The highest staff salary in the governor's office is currently $130,000."

Raccoon, it would be nice if "Wilbur" paid Massachusetts back for all his trips around the U.S.A. investigating his potential presidential run; and all the paid police details for non-Massachusetts things

...and after four years, it's painfully obvious that they're worth exactly what we taxpayers paid them.
