RKO's problem is that they seem to think that any overt display of personality or verve is somehow sales dept. poison--how else to explain the neutered content?
Howie Carr is their bread and butter and instead of making the station in his image, they run away from his brand of snark. This I don't get.
Community-based programming is cool. But imagining the community as chardonnay-sipping connoisseur oenophiles that munch expensive brie and toddle to Symphony Hall for the classics, that's nonsense.
