WRKO'S SCOTT ALLEN MILLER WITHHOLDS POLING INFORMATION

C

Casablance

Surprised and disappointed to hear that WRKO's Scott Allen Miller would not discuss Channel 4's Democratic Primary Contest Pol.

Ch.4's pol put Deval Patrick way ahead with 45% of the vote.
Miller would only refer to the less credible State House News Pol that put Patrick at 36 or 38%.

Channel 4 headlined it as a "Break-away" pol for Deval Patrick who Scott Allen Miller does not support. Said he was voting in the "Democrat" [ a Right-wing-nut immediate identification] for Gabreili and then for "Muffy" Healy (Republicrat from Polo Pony Crossing) in the in the November election.

What? Was Scott Allen Miller afraid to put ALL the polling information out there? Know it came from a television station but that should not make it any less news worthy. Entercom is too cheap to run its own polling. So, you would not expect them to compete there.

Miller has become such a disappointing sell-out. It is apparent he is saying whatever he thinks will please the crazed right wing who populate WRKO. Miller is just more bread and circus and little else.

Changing my wake up radio to another station.

Casablance, waking up to WRKO is like waking up to the ex-wife of Harry Mudd from Star Trek (Roger C. Carmel's character). Why would you put yourself through such torture?

Scotto is, obviously, being told what to put on the air by the control-freak powers that be.

Notice how Intercomm99 isn't here anymore to trash any negative talk of WRKO

Perhaps they don't want to mention the station at 1030 on the dial or its call letters?

Casablanca, you were dispatched from WRKO 20 years ago, get over it. Keep a job, any job. Scott Allen Miller can quote any poll results he deems fit.

Old news is good to wrap fish in only.

The era of WRKO of which you write was two or three owners ago - General Tire and Rubber Company to be exact.

The observations therefore have nothing to do with any possible past employment. Nor do your idle threats phase this poster.

Get used to it or go elsewhere.

Or as the old mentor, Jerry Williams, would say to callers like you...'they are out there ... in great numbers. Wake-up America.'

You've been living on that brief Williams affiliation for years. It's no longer a mark of honor, you've managed to make it a punchline.

Who introduced the extraneous issue?

This is the banned one again, Casablance. He said he was going to have a number of handles and disrupt the board. He's doing it. Ron Zippey, Towerbuzz, Django, Brooklyndon - he's so busy creating handles now that he's not on the air mid-days. Even his predecessor got a gig!

The nun in school used to say "Idle hands - work for the devil." Or in Ron Jippey's case, the Dover devil's shill/servant

Any Harry Mudd reference is a beautiful thing. Radio and tv stations regularly quote polls of their own choosing. Sometimes a station CAN'T use certain polling data, if it comes from a polling service that requires a fee of those who use it.

Poor Harry Mudd, seems Roger C. Carmel's real life reflected the art. It's too bad the old hag wasn't warning him about the "drinking again" as she did on Star Trek. Isn't that what did him in?
